It is an honour and a privilege to be welcomed into the Upper Hutt School whānau as Tumuaki (Principal).
I live in Lower Hutt with my husband Chris and son Sam. My daughter Mackenzie is currently studying in Dunedin. Taranaki is where I grew up and is my turangawaewae, where I feel connected. I have family there and I enjoy every opportunity I get to visit.
I am an active relaxer who loves to be outdoors and connect with nature My enthusiastic chocolate Lab Luna ensures we do this as much as humanly possible, walking into the hills and enjoying the edges of Te Awa Kairangi. I can also be found devouring a good book or catching up with friends.
I love to learn people’s stories and have spent over 20 years connecting with tamariki in the classroom and being part of their learning journey. People are my passion and I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know your precious tamariki better.
Please come and introduce yourself, I want to learn all about the Upper Hutt School's wider community.
Ngā mihi nui
