My name is Shanice Tredrea and I am the classroom teacher of Rūma Whitu.
My teaching is led by the whakatauki “Me mahi tahi tātou mō te oranga o te tatou”. This means that we should work together for the wellbeing of everyone. I enjoy supporting our tamariki and celebrating their progress.
Outside of class, I help to lead our performance Kapa Haka, Te Kāwai Whirinaki, alongside two wonderful kaimahi - Mr McNabb and Whaea Chelsea. It is a welcoming space that creates a sense of belonging, community and identity.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Upper Hutt School and look forward to another fantastic year full of new learning experiences and the fostering of whanaungatanga (relationships) and ako (shared learning).
If you ever need to get in touch with me, feel free to pop in or send an email to email@example.com
