Kia ora e te whānau,

Titiro whakamuri, kōkiri whakamua - look back so you can move forward. This is my favourite whakataukī as I believe we must look at our history and where come from so we can have a better future. I am Tāngata Tiriti and Te Tiriti o Waitangi underpins my teaching practice and personal values. I aim to contribute to creating and maintaining a strong Tiriti-based environment for our tamariki and future.

Although I was born in England, I have spent most of my life in the beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand, and I consider Upper Hutt my home. After completing my Masters of Teaching and Learning (Primary), I am finally starting my Primary Teaching Career at the amazing Upper Hutt School. I am also a qualified ECE teacher and worked in a local ECE centre for three years.
