I have been a part of the Upper Hutt School Community for quite a while now, and I am always struck by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the tamariki I get to work with every day. While I spend much of my time working in the senior leadership team, I have a special passion for our youngest students. Moving to school at 5 is a huge step for tamariki and whanau, and I love being part of this transition through our preschool programme.

I moved to Upper Hutt more than 25 years ago with my husband and 3 childrenm abd we continue to enjoy the great environment in our little city.

I am an avid reader, and have a large collection of children's books which I love to share. In my spare time I can be found in the garden or with family. I enjoy a bit of overseas travel when we can find the time.
